Baseball Playoffs ~ Game One

The A's vs. The Red Sox

Well after being re-scheduled due to rain we finally were able to play! We meaning all of the rest of the team and not Elisha. He hurt his toe on Memorial Day (I know I have yet to post how he did that but I will) and could not play. He was so bummed. But he went and sat in the dugout and cheered his team on until the end, and I sat in the scorekeeper box and did my thing. All while taking pictures of the kids like I do every game.

It was a crazy quick game, over before 7:30 (believe me usually the week night games last until 8:00 or until the game is called because it is too dark. Elisha konked out fast even though he didn't play. It was an interesting game to say the least. It was virtually no challenge to play against the Red Sox tonight and it made us wonder where the awesome team that beat us during the season went (to give us credit though we did beat them twice, once during pre-season and once during regular season).

Final Score: A's 13, Red Sox 2

I would have done all of the Playoff games in one post, but game two is a game that really needs to be a post all in itself. So much good stuff and disappointment all rolled into one.
