You Are So Beautiful....

So tonight we were sitting in church waiting for the Baptism part of the service to start and Elisha starts playing with my hair. After running his fingers through it and smoothing it down again he finally stops and tucks my hair behind my ears.

"Mommy, you are so beautiful like that."

"Oh," I reply, "Thank you, Son."

"You're welcome, you look just like you got out of the shower."

So apparently to my eight year old son, I look beautiful when I get out of the shower and my hair is all wet and dripping. Go figure!

That's too funny, but super sweet that he thinks his momma is beautiful! He's such a sweetheart:)

Oh...that is so sweet! I love little boys! Ok, yeah, I'm a little biased, having two of my own :-)

OH that is so precious for him to say that.

And thank you for the Jeremy Camp suggestion. I do like him. I'll have to look for those songs. I have one of his CD's but it's been awhile since I've listened to it because we have about 100 Christian cd's and we rotate, so I'll have to find it and see if it has those songs on it.

Blessings,
Kim

Oh, how cute! I love it when Josiah tell me I look pretty. I always tell him that he needs to remember to tell his wife that frequently someday.

That's too funny! My boys would say the same thing! I hear that too alot from my kindergarteners and my first thought is...what do you want??!

I had to come back and tell you that you were cracking me up with your hair story.
I'm not liking the things that happen when you get older. No fun, but it was nice knowing most all the women that commented today could relate! LOL!

And I'm on my way to 40 in a few short months! *sigh*

Awww, what a sweet thing to say! I think our children think we're beautiful no matter what we look like! That's why kids rock! :)
