Coffee Burn

Sunday morning Elisha bumped into the coffee dispenser at The Source (the church bookstore) and spilled hot coffee down his long sleeve shirt. He then grabbed his arm and came running to me crying. It took me a few moments to figure out what had happened but when I did I pulled his sleeve off his burn and waved it to cool it down. When it was cool enough I took a look at it and got him a cool paper towel to put on it. After looking for burn cream and finding none I finally sent him to church because it didn't really seem too bad and he had stopped complaining. Poor kid. This is what his arm looked like on Monday evening:

*Sigh* I wonder how bad the scar is going to be.

Oh wow! He really did get burned! OUch! I hope it does not scar. But then again boys kind of like having scars. Then they get to have tough stories to tell. :) My son has a few!

That's bad! Do you have any silvadine? That is what they gave Marcus when he dumped my hot tea down his neck and shoulders.

Poor baby!
Praying it heals quickly and does NOT scar badly.

Oh no! Poor Elisha! Sometimes it is so hard to figure out when they are seriously hurt or not. I would keep something on that. Ouch! Praying it will heal quickly.

Oh no! I do hope it doesn't scar. I know you must be feeling so guilty for sending him to church.
:( I hope it heals quickly. I recently read that black tea helps with burns. I don't know if it works, bu I'm all for trying anything!

Ouch! I know that burn hurt! I burned my tummy once when I was pregnant(spilled hot tea on it), and it looked a lot like that arm. It did scar, but not as bad as I thought it would.
