Mother's Day Recap

Okay, due to the fact that my computer was "sick" last week I have not had a chance to post this yet so please excuse the delay of this post or pretend I posted it last week.

The kids and Yohn treated me to lunch out and then because I wanted to see the baby ducks at the pond in the nearby park I let the kids convince me to try out crawdad fishing too. Ya know cuz' I mistakenly told them the week before that we could do it the following weekend without realizing it was Mother's Day.

No luck at crawdad hunting but we did see one at the bottom. We needed better bait and not just the turkey that was in the fridge. Next time we'll try hot dogs or rib bones like back the in the day when we did this in Oregon.

My daughter got me these glasses and wanted to take a picture of the two of us in our goofy glasses. We truly look goofy don't we?

The kids made these I Love You flower cards in church. It was actually my project for Launch Pad (aka little kids church) and I cut out Bethany's hand myself because I needed an example for the kids to look at. Elisha did his himself.

The kids wanted me to take a picture with them and what they got me so here we are!
Mother's Day was busy, quiet and fun! Hopefully Father's Day will be just as memorable for Yohn. Maybe we should start planning now....

She is such a character! It sounds like a wonderful day! Has baseball ended yet or are they still making up games?
