Project 365 (#63 - #69)

Project 365 button designed by http://richgift.blogspot.com

Sunday ~ #63/365

Mother's Day gifts from my children, including a picture frame they decorated at church, a stuffed gorilla holding a heart, a heart shaped container with soaps and candles and blue Spider-Man typle glasses that stobe (boy does that stobe effect make me feel nauseated quick!). NOTE: it was not the boy child that gave me the glasses :)

Monday ~ #64/365

Elisha's teacher made a mistake and thought Mother's Day was on May 16th and so was very embarrased and upset that she send their Mother's Day gifts home on the day after. The card reads:

My mother is as wise as (insert his teacher's name here).

My mother is as gentle as Me.

My mother is as kind as God.

My mother is as beautiful as Diamonds.

My mother is as patient as a waiter.

My mother is as joyful as birds.

And that's why I LOVE her!

Tuesday ~ #65/365

Bethany came home from school throwing up. She slept all afternoon and then vomited again when I came home. Then she was fine the rest of the evening. She missed her softball game due to the illness. Here she is snuggling with her daddy and her brother just before prayer/bed time.

Wednesday ~ #66/365

I caught the kids in a goofy sibling moment!

Thursday ~ #67/365

Elisha's class performed at Open House. They played three songs for us on their recorders. I know they have been working extra hard for this night and it paid off. They did great.
But alas, Elisha had a game this night that he had to miss out on because of the performance.

Friday ~ #68/365

My computer comes home from visiting the "doctor" after getting a lovely virus that decided to take over the entire system, making absolutely nothing work!

Saturday ~ #69/365

This little girl felt the need to clean off first base while she was waiting for the batter to hit the ball. Good thing her coach heard me yelling, "Bethany, pay attention!" and got her focused again before the girl at bat actually hit the ball :)
She also got Hero of the Game for getting a "clutch hit" in the 5th inning to pull their team ahead.

And this boy played his game with a 100.3 fever unbeknownst to me (because I wasn't feeling well myself and didn't really catch the signs that he was not feeling well until later on) but still managed two great hits into the outfield, bringing in an RBI and getting to run home himself after the next boy at bat got a great hit.

So how was your week? This week I'm linking up with Sara at her blog for another great Project 365 week!

Sounds like another busy week in the RaD household! I hope the kids and you are feeling better this week. Not too much longer and baseball season will end and things will calm down. Not to mention, Summer break is coming up too! You have some awesome kids!

I love your posts. They remind me of when my kids were young. When I worked at school, we always did those little fill in the blank cards for Mother's Day. The answers I'd get were priceless--just like yours.
