I warned him to stay on the path, but he just had to take his bike "off road". Now both of his tires are filled with these and we have to replace the tubes.

1st day of kid's camp. We stop off on the way up for a dip in this free pool. The kids have a blast here.

We were visited by a mama deer and her baby at the park we visited today. They wanted us to feed them, but we gave them a firm no and were just content to watch them run around.

The hike to the falls we beautiful! It's the first time I've done the hike in the five years we have been going to this particular spot for camp. It was Bethany's first year at camp and Elisha's second, but he didn't hike last year, so all three of us experienced the beauty of it for the first time together. My crazy husband and daughter took a dip in that ice cold water! My son just got his feet wet. Me, I just took pictures. :)

On our way home we stop at yet another pool, so 1) we break up the trip and the four hours in the car is not as long and 2) because there are no showers where we are and this way the kids come home smelling like chlorine instead of sweat. :)
Today was a mix of chores, wrapping up kid's camp information, preparing for Sunday morning, reading with my girl and playing video games with my boy.

Looks like a wonderful week. Stinks about his bike tires. Love that pool shot. Thanks for linking up. Have a great Sunday.
Looks like a fun week of camping and swimming. My hubby wants us to go camping but I prefer electricity :)
so was this a family camp? We used to take our family to one and loved it!
What a fun week! That hiking location looks really lovely. I probably would have stuck my toe in the water. Maybe.
How fun! The family pic is adorable. I've been thinking how cool it would be to try a family camp, but I'm not sure if there are any around here? in MN.
Oh and to answer your question on my blog...I once printed at Costco, but since our membership has expired, I'm thinking about trying one of the online services I've heard of. Not sure yet. I need to put a few more 12 X 12s together first!
Looks like fun filled days!
Beautiful scenery in your hiking and park photos! Too bad about the bike tires...experience is the best teacher sometimes.
