Project 365 (#293 - #299)

Project 365 button designed by http://richgift.blogspot.com

Sunday ~ #293/365

These babies got a lot of use pretty much all of Sunday afternoon and into the evening.

Monday ~ #294/365

We got the first of this new series for our kids for Christmas to try it out. At first I thought they weren't really as interested in it as I had hoped. But then they were singing the songs from it all week long. It also led to the discovery of the website Jelly Telly (part of the Focus on the Family network) later in the week which I highly recommend for anyone who has kids. They have new 1/2 hour shows every day and cover Bible topics, weekly verses, science and other fun stuff. Our kids LOVE it. Currently we are on the free trial membership, but I have a feeling we'll be subscribers when the membership runs out.

Tuesday ~ #295/365

We had a visitor stay the night!

Wednesday ~ #296/365

My kids are so creative, meet Dollface. Apparently she is a really mean bad guy!

Thursday ~ #297/365

I nearly forgot about these and they were gonna expire on December 31st! Thankfully I tallied them and the hundreds of regular box tops up and sent in the on-line submission on time to get these in before the expiration date.

Friday ~ #298/365

Working on a Lego set we got for Bethany last year when we went to Legoland. Can you just say procrastinator. Thankfully my girl is so forgiving and we had a great time putting it all together.

Later on New Year's Eve we hung out with some friends and played games the last of which being Uno. I've never played for points before playing with them on Christmas day, but it's been fun. I actually won on New Year's Eve after playing 27 rounds. Yohn was playing too but was eliminated after round 13.

Saturday ~ #299/365

We visited the school gym to fly this indoor helicopter Elisha got for Christmas.

Think he liked it?

Whew! The holidays are now over and it's time for life as usual. But first it's off to Sara's blog to see how everyone else's New Year was. With today being the first of a New Year now is the time to join in. So how 'bout it?

I love Dollface! My brother would totally have done something like that - although he seemed to enjoy hanging my Barbies off of drawer handles & then having GI Joe save them.

I've enjoyed catching up with you through your photos. I haven't felt like blogging much since before Christmas.
I love the canvas photo that you gave your husband--it looks beautiful.
So, who's the Wii champion in the family???

We got a little helicopter too, but sadly, no gym to fly it in. My hubs kept flying it in the house, but when he got it caught in one of the girl's hair, they got confiscated. Glad to see they are worth the trouble!

Thanks for the memories I grew upwith two brothers and we loved lego's and the logo blocks we would spend hours building things. My brother is a minister and has three children one he adopted from China and They have no time but always make time for their family, though I miss seeing them more often I understand God's work comes first as I do that through my writing and it leaves me little time for socializing as well..Thank you for sharing your home make God continue is abundant blessings to you and all you love in 2011 Patricia

Dollface is something my kids would have come up with too!

I'll have to check out Jelly Telly. Maybe my little girls will enjoy.

Legos...I don't think they are ever too old for them!
