Kid Fest

A lot of things happen in our area this time of year, one of these being Kid Fest, a favorite of our kiddos. I'm sure in just a few years they're going to consider themselves too old for this tradition, so we'll enjoy it while we can. This year they wanted to take a few friends...

Another tradition for the kids is taking a picture on the high school sign. They insisted T and Harmony join in the fun.

New to Kidfest was the sports section. The kids got to try several different types of sports out, some booths being much better at their instructions and teaching the kids than others.

The kids got to try lacrosse, tennis, hockey, soccer, golf, volleyball, football, basketball, baseball, paintball and I'm sure there was more I just can't think of them. We spent the whole morning just in the sports section.

Of course, they were all promoting their different teams but it was good so see if the kids were interested in other sports. Bethany really liked volleyball and Elisha caught the concept of lacrosse really quickly. They also won a lot of prizes as they tried all the different sports.

Harmony got selected as a volunteer for the BMX show. She had no idea the guy was going to jump over her and some other kids or she may not have raised her hand. She loved it though!

The monkey show was a lot of fun and the baby monkey even played with Bethany's basketball she accidentally lost control of just before the show. We were able to get it back afterwards, and she thought it was great that the monkey played with her ball.

Face painting and balloons, always a must!

And rides as soo expensive so the kids had to pick which ones were really worth getting on.

Those smiles prove they still made the best of it!

wow, that is pretty darn awesome. What a great way to get them out, get them moving, have fun, and get along with others.

You can never be too old for Kid Fest can you? This looks like so much fun! Well if they get too old for it, then they can start volunteering to help run it, I guess ;)

That was a great shot of the bike jumping over Harmony!

Gee, I wish they had something like that here. (Or maybe they do and I just don't know about it.LOL)
It looks like they had a blast though.
Thanks for taking the time to stop by my blog and saying hi even though you were busy. Know that it is appreciated. *smile*
